How old do you have to be to go abroad without parents?

I'm 16 and my boyfriend's 19, and we're planning on going to Spain in a couple of months. Will we be able to go abroad without my parents or not? He will be booking flights and hotel?How old do you have to be to go abroad without parents?

you should be ok , most airlines insist someone is 14 before being un accompanied but i would just double check 1st
