How to get my parents to let me get my cartilage pierced?

So here's the deal,I'm 13 and i have 2 holes on each ear, but i want just ONE more and then i'm good for life. My dad doesn't really mind, but my mom just won't seem to budge. I'm not too young, she just thinks i don't ';need'; it or it looks bad which it won't since i can cover it with my hair. Any tips to get my mom to budge?? You're 13. I'd listen to your parents...in this case, your mom. She says that you don't need it. Well, do you need it? When you grow older you can make your own decisions, but for now just go ahead and listen to your mom.

Your mom is thinking long term, as where your thinking about right now. When you turn 35-40, will you still adore the fact you have these piercings, and the amount of fight put into getting them? Think about it.





If your so set on changing her mind, %26lt;which i doubt's gonna happen%26gt; go buy one of those magnetic earrings. Clip it on and show her how it would look. Tell her your not going for the MORBID look, just a finale piercing to get more attention from the prettier girls. ~winks~ Tell her you will make up a contract stating no more holes in the body until your of age to do so.
